Symphonic Choir
Symphonic Choir is the premier vocal ensemble of the Jackson vocal music program. Symphonic Choir is an auditioned, mixed-voice choir comprised of 40 students grades 9-12. Students perform advanced repertoire and are expected to have a strong vocal music background to be eligible for participation. Symphonic Choir sings at all major concerts, various school & community events, participates at the OMEA District Contest and tours to NYC every 4 years. 

Women's Choir 
Women's Choir is a non-auditioned female choir comprised of 60 students grades 9-12. Students in Women's Choir work to develop strong choral skills at the high school level, and present a balanced range of vocally-appropriate intermediate repertoire tailored to the female voice. Women's Choir is open to any JHS student. Women's Choir performs at all major choir concerts and district contest.

Men's Choir
Men's Choir is a non-auditioned male choir comprised of 31 students grades 9-12. Students in Men's Choir work to develop strong choral skills at the high school level, and present a balanced range of vocally-appropriate intermediate repertoire tailored to the male voice. Men's Choir is open to any JHS student. Men's Choir performs at all major choir concerts and district contest.

Act Natural
Act Natural is an entirely extra-curricular, auditioned ensemble comprised of 8 students. This group rehearses twice a week after school and performs more contemporary styles with an emphasis on pop a capella and vocal jazz. Students are required to practice independently, have strong sight-reading skills, and perform advanced repertoire. They perform at major concerts, and various community events. 

8th Grade Choir
The 8th Grade Choir is comprised of 64 students and meets daily. This ensemble works to further develop introductory choral skills including tone production, sight-singing, and basic music literacy and theory skills. 8th grade choir is open to any interested students at JMS. 8th Grade Choir performs at all major concerts, school events, and participates at the "Trills and Thrills" event at Kings Island.

7th Grade Choir
The 7th Grade Choir is comprised of 48 students and meets daily. This ensemble works to develop a strong foundation in choral skills including tone production, sight-singing, and basic music literacy and theory skills. 7th grade choir is open to any interested students at JMS. 7th Grade Choir performs at all major concerts.
